Job summary

Rubrik, a leader in data security and cyber resilience, seeks a Regional Sales Direct for SLED in the Northeastern territory. You will own bookings growth, mentor six Account Executives, and guide pipeline development across state, local, and education accounts.

You'll partner with Sales Engineering, Channel, and Product teams to shape regional strategy, drive multi-deal opportunities, and exceed regional objectives while maintaining a focus on integrity and long-term customer success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful technology sales management experience leading high-performing teams.
• Deep, verifiable experience navigating State, Local, and Higher Education procurement cycles, contracts, and buying personas (Northeastern market experience is highly preferred).
• Solid understanding of data security, backup, cyber resilience, cloud infrastructure, or data center environments.
• Proven capability in navigating complex enterprise sales cycles, negotiating high-value deals, and influencing decision-makers.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical value propositions to both technical and executive audiences.
• A self-motivated leader with strong problem-solving skills who thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor 6 SLED Account Executives, ensuring ongoing enablement and growth.
• Develop and implement a territory strategy to maximize Rubrik’s market share and revenue across Northeastern SLED accounts.
• Drive weekly forecasting and pipeline generation aligned with executive expectations.
• Engage in the field to support AEs on complex deals, providing guidance and high-level CxO relationships.
• Build and leverage partner ecosystem to accelerate regional pipeline.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Sales Development, and Product teams to align regional execution with corporate goals.
• Actively participate in short-, medium-, and long-term planning as a core Public Sector team member
