Job summary

Traeger Grills seeks a Field Sales Representative based in the Northeast to drive sell‑in and build partnerships with retail accounts. You will spend most of your time on the shop floor, visiting dealers, and expanding Traeger’s presence in Platinum, Gold, and key accounts across the Northeast region including CT.

Extensive travel and overnight trips are required. You will report to a Regional Field Sales Manager and collaborate cross-functionally to serve dealers, with a focus on hitting

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in field sales, territory sales, or retail account management — consumer goods, outdoor/hardlines, or sporting goods experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sell-in: walk into a store, build rapport, and leave with an order or commitment.
• Comfortable spending the majority of your workweek in the field — this role is not office-based.
• Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills with store managers, buyers, and staff.
• Organized and self-directed; able to manage a multi-account territory with minimal supervision.
• Proven track record of hitting sales targets.
• Salesforce or similar CRM experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel overnight regularly.
• Physically able to be on your feet for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Account Management & Sell-In: visit stores, plan pre-call and post-call recaps, secure orders, grow shelf presence.
• Drive sell-in: present new products and promotions to expand assortments.
• Build retailer partnerships to become a trusted vendor in every door.
• Plan and land financial targets; monitor progress with management.
• Develop assortments based on space and strategic direction; optimize product flow.
• Identify new distribution opportunities without eroding existing accounts.
