Job summary

Helmerich and Payne in North Dakota is seeking a North Dakota Area Floorhand to support rig operations in Dickinson. This on-site role involves performing manual labor across the rig floor, assisting with rig up and down, and executing assigned tasks to ensure smooth drilling activities.

The position requires basic English literacy and the ability to work a demanding schedule, with 12-hour shifts for 14 days on and 14 days off.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write English.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor tasks on the rig site, including rig up/down, operation, repairs, and maintenance on rig components.
• Handle mud-mix, tubulars in the derrick, and other duties as assigned.
