Job summary

Scoot Education is seeking a Substitute Teacher in the North County area of San Diego, CA. You will supervise and support students in classrooms, playgrounds, and cafeterias while maintaining a positive, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities include following teacher plans, managing routines, and communicating with staff. A teaching credential or 30-Day permit is preferred, and compensation is hourly with benefits typical of W-2 employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits.
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor.
• State & federal background checks.

• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions following lesson plans left by the teacher.
• Communicate clearly with school staff.

Daily Pay Range:

Pay will vary forday-to-day assignments and is typicallymore for long-term placements.Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.
