Job summary

HDR is seeking a North Central Region Transportation Business Group Director to lead strategic planning and execution across the region. You will guide regional transportation initiatives, collaborate with area leaders, and oversee staffing, budgeting, and client management plans.

The role emphasizes employee ownership and HDR values within a dynamic, multi-state environment. The position requires senior leadership experience in transportation, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or closely related field.
Minimum of 12 years experience in related field.
Demonstrated experience with leading diverse teams.
Strong business skills and HDR values.
Active participant in employee-owned culture and HDR governance.

Responsibilities

Lead Region Transportation Business in executing strategy of 5 year strategic plan and deliver annual plan.
Support Area Transportation leadership to conform to HDR MOA, QMS and other policies.
Engage as Reviewer or Approver for MOA actions.
Engage with Area Leadership on project delivery, staffing and quality practices.
Partner with Regional Director of Operations on salary planning and incentives.
Coordinate with Area Leadership to implement Area Organization structure.
