Job summary

Kyowa Kirin North America, Inc. seeks a Director of Strategic Initiatives to drive development, planning, and execution of strategic programs in North America. You will lead cross-functional teams, monitor progress, and evaluate impact to align with corporate goals.

The role requires 7+ years in pharma/biotech leadership, strong strategic and analytical capabilities, and willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally. A bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience leading cross-functional teams in pharma/biotech.
• Experience in marketing leadership, sales leadership or operations leadership within pharma/biotech.
• Knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements for pharmaceutical marketing.
• Proven track record of building and driving business process transformation.
• Project Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with strategy team and senior leadership to execute North America strategy.
• Translate strategic outputs into actionable recommendations for North America leadership.
• Lead or support strategic initiatives identified by leadership.
• Develop executive-level views of performance and initiative progress.
• Support North America’s strategic assessment of portfolio opportunities, including potential synergies and integration considerations.
