Job summary

State Street Corporation in Massachusetts is seeking the Head of North America Proposal & Content Management to lead regional delivery of RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs for SSIM.

You will oversee the North America proposals team, ensure high-quality, timely, and compliant responses, and partner with Sales, Legal, Compliance, Product, and Investments.

The role requires 7–10 years in institutional RFP/RFI/DDQ, strong investment management knowledge, and proven leadership in a matrix global model.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in institutional RFP, RFI, and DDQ management.
• Strong understanding of investment management concepts, products, and institutional clients.
• Experience leading teams in a deadline-driven environment.
• Experience in a matrix reporting structure with global stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead change initiatives and process improvements.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree required; finance or investment background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of North America RFP, RFI, and DDQ activity.
• Serve as escalation point for complex, high-priority proposals.
• Partner with Sales and Client Coverage to align responses to client expectations.
• Ensure responses meet governance, regulatory, and compliance standards.
• Lead, develop, and motivate the North America proposals/content team.
• Set priorities, manage capacity, and allocate work to meet SLAs.
• Coach and mentor team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition for hiring and onboarding.
• Support regional process improvements and adoption of global standards.
• Collaborate with global leadership; report on volumes and risks.
