Job summary

EMPIT is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive growth across North America. You will build and maintain relationships with pipeline operators, partners, and service providers, identifying opportunities for EMPIT’s inspection technology and collaborating with technical teams to craft compelling presentations and demonstrations.

You will represent EMPIT at industry events and conferences, expanding our network while traveling approximately 20–40% to meet customers and partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience including 4+ years in pipeline integrity.
• BSc in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Established North American pipeline industry network and proven BD/partnership experience.
• Strong technical understanding with ability to communicate to technical decision-makers; includes presentation, writing and reporting skills.
• Entrepreneurial, self-driven mindset with initiative and ownership.
• Willingness to travel 20–40% for meetings and events.
• AMPP/NACE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic business development and outreach activities across North America.
• Build and maintain relationships with pipeline operators, industry partners, service providers and stakeholders.
• Identify pipeline integrity challenges and applications for EMPIT’s technology.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Represent EMPIT at industry conferences and events to grow presence in North America.
