You will oversee regulatory compliance with NRC, mentor a high-performing team, manage budgets, and pursue growth opportunities with government and industry partners. This leadership role emphasizes safety, risk management, and innovation, with travel across North America as required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in nuclear energy with operations, project management, or regulatory affairs.
• 5+ years of senior leadership managing large teams.
• Proven track record in strategic planning and major initiatives.
• In-depth knowledge of NRC regulations, industry standards, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for regulators and partners.
• Experience with P&L management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Ability to lead organizational change in a highly regulated setting.
• Project management across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Strong nuclear safety culture and security practices.
• Willingness to travel across North America; bonus: fuel cycle, decommissioning, or waste management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic vision for the nuclear sector across North America.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of professionals, fostering excellence and accountability.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and maintain relationships with NRC and other bodies.
• Manage operational performance, safety protocols, and risk mitigation across facilities and projects.
• Drive business development initiatives, identify growth opportunities and partnerships.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies for strategy.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between operations, engineering, and finance.
• Prepare and present reports, metrics, and recommendations to leadership and board.
• Champion a safety-first culture and implement best practices in operations and security.
• Manage budgets, P&L, and resources to optimize profitability.
• SOX control responsibilities may apply where relevant.
