Job summary

Jacobs is expanding its Energy & Power Solutions team to lead and grow our North American power generation practice. The role focuses on developing market strategy, managing projects, and delivering innovative power solutions for utilities, cooperatives, municipalities, and independent producers.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in the power generation sector, strong leadership, and proven client engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree required.
At least 10 years of project management, design, consulting, construction, commissioning and/or operations experience in the power generation market.
Experience overseeing thermal generation power plant projects from planning to commercial operation.
Proven ability to engage and develop strong working relationships with clients, vendors, EPC contractors and other project stakeholders.
Strong communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and expand Jacobs’ power generation practice for North America, shaping market delivery.
Develop and execute market and sales strategy; recruit skilled professionals to strengthen delivery.
Collaborate with sales and delivery staff to create innovative power generation solutions with strong market value.
Oversee ownership, contract management, advisory roles, and strategic project development to meet client objectives and technical specs.
