Job summary

Mimecast North America, Inc. is seeking a Director-level Field CISO based in Columbus, OH, with two office days per week.

You will act as the primary trusted security advisor across our top strategic accounts in North America, guiding insider risk strategy and enterprise risk frameworks while translating Mimecast capabilities into measurable business outcomes. You will engage with C-suite and board audiences, represent Mimecast at major security conferences, and collaborate with sales to shorten

Qualifications

10+ years in enterprise information security leadership roles (CISO/VP level).
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or related field; Master’s preferred.
Proven ability to engage and influence C-suite and board audiences.
Experience operating in U.S. and Canadian markets with cross‑cultural fluency.
Comfortable functioning as a Director-level individual contributor with strong self-direction.

Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor to CISOs, CTOs, and board-level stakeholders at top strategic accounts across the Americas.
Guide customers through insider risk strategy, Incydr deployment, AI risk, and enterprise risk frameworks.
Represent Mimecast at major North American security conferences and publish thought leadership.
Partner with sales on security-sensitive enterprise deals and surface opportunities to expand Mimecast platform adoption.
