Job summary

Mimecast in Columbus, OH is seeking a Director-level Field CISO to lead security advisory for our North American strategic accounts. Based in Columbus with flexible office presence, you will translate client risk into measurable business outcomes and extend the Global Field CISO’s strategy regionally.

You will engage C-suite stakeholders, guide insider risk, AI agent risk, and enterprise risk frameworks, and drive security maturity across top accounts while shaping Mimecast’s human risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in leadership roles, including at least 3 years as a CISO or equivalent.
• Advanced certifications: CISSP, CRISC, CISM, GIAC/GCEIT equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Advise CISOs, CTOs, and boards at top strategic accounts across the Americas.
• Translate security capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
• Lead insider risk, AI agent risk, and enterprise risk program guidance.
