Job summary

CoreWeave, the Essential Cloud for AI, is seeking a senior Environmental, Health & Safety leader to own EHS across North America data centers and facilities. You will drive governance, regulatory engagement, and audit readiness, partnering with Operations, Construction, Security, Sustainability, Legal, and Procurement to embed safety into daily work.

The role requires 15+ years in EHS with multi-site leadership, CSP/CIH/CHMM/NEBOSH, strong executive communication, and 40–60% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering required.
• 15+ years of progressive EHS experience, 5+ years in multi-site/regional leadership.
• Experience with data centers or 24/7 high-hazard operations.
• Experience managing EHS programs across multiple states with regulatory engagement.
• Certifications: CSP, CIH, ASP, CHMM, OHST, or NEBOSH.
• Proficiency with enterprise EHS MIS and data-driven reporting.
• Strong executive communication with senior leadership exposure.
• Travel 40–60% domestically and to Canada.

Responsibilities

• Own site compliance across all EHS programs, training, reporting, and records.
• Drive shared ownership of EHS across North America and embed metrics.
• Ensure audit readiness for government, ISO, and customer audits.
• Chair or co-chair a regional EHS governance forum with key stakeholders.
• Oversee regulatory interactions and reporting across U.S. states and Canadian provinces.
• Own regional incident reporting, investigation, and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain and exercise site emergency response, business continuity, and crisis plans.
• Track leading and lagging indicators and report trends to leadership.
• Champion a proactive safety culture with hazard reporting and stop-work authority.
• Manage regional budget, staffing plans, and a network of third-party providers.
• Maintain 24/7 on-call posture for incident response and regulatory support.
• Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies, first responders, and risk partners.
