Job summary

Overwatch Mission Critical is seeking an on-site EHS professional to lead environmental, health, and safety compliance for data center construction. You will monitor requirements, support corrective actions with contractors, and deliver timely EHS performance data to the construction management team.

The role requires expertise in RAMS/JHAs, experience with hyperscale projects, and strong communication and coaching skills to guide site teams. A driver’s license is preferred for site mobility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and advise on the team's EHS requirements and regulatory references onsite.
• Advise the contractor in identification and implementation of corrective actions for deficiencies.
• Interface and support construction management with data on Contractor EHS performance, including KPIs and incident data.
• Attend essential meetings such as GC all hands, safety committee, and coordination meetings.
• Ensure adequate site safety walks with contractor management and Owner’s PM/team.
• Evaluate hazard assessments (RAMS, JHAs, ARTs, PTPs) for completeness and effectiveness.
• Create and communicate lessons learned via Significant Events and Significant Potential Events with EHS team and trade partners.
