Edwards Vacuum, a division of Atlas Copco, is seeking a Head of Distribution - North America to lead the Sanborn, NY DC operations on-site. You will own P&L, partner with sales and care teams, and drive efficiency and growth across the North American distribution network.

The role requires 5–10 years in logistics, a strong operations and financial mindset, and proficiency with SAP and BI tools. A proactive, globally-minded leader is essential for success in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5–10 years in logistics/distribution.
• Inventory management experience.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience with SAP, Power BI, Excel & Access an asset.

Responsibilities

• Own full P&L for the distribution center and drive revenue growth, cost efficiency and margin expansion.
• Position the DC as a strategic partner to enable market share growth and customer retention.
• Identify and scale value-added services and optimized service costing models.
• Define long-term DC expansion strategy aligned with growth plans.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Care and Business Lines to align logistics with commercial objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term investment planning for VTBA.
• Improve cost-to-serve transparency and balance service levels with inventory positioning.
• Monitor KPIs like cost per order line, inventory turns, and freight spend; take corrective actions.
• Evaluate capital investments (automation, systems, facilities) based on ROI.
• Provide insights to senior leadership on logistics risks and opportunities.
