Job summary

COFCO International seeks a seasoned Head of Compliance for North America and Derivatives to lead the regulatory program across the region. Based in Stamford, CT, you will drive governance for commodity derivatives trading and align trading, operations, legal and IT to ensure robust controls and timely regulatory reporting.

You will work with regulators and exchanges, mentor teams, and shape policy development to support responsible growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

10+ years of compliance experience in international commodity trading.
Deep knowledge of commodity derivatives regulations.
Proven ability to build and enhance compliance programs.
Experience working with regulators and global teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead a comprehensive North America derivatives compliance program.
Monitor regulatory developments in U.S. and international markets and assess impacts.
Design and implement internal policies; conduct staff trainings.
Coordinate with trading, operations, legal and IT to embed compliance in processes.
Advise executives on CFTC rules and exchange requirements.
Liaise with regulators and exchanges to ensure timely responses and reporting.
Promote proactive compliance culture across the business.
