Job summary

Roquette seeks a Sr. Supply Planner to bridge strategic planning and execution, ensuring demand is met while optimizing inventory, capacity, service, and working capital.

The role focuses on North America planning, coordinating with Manufacturing, Demand Planning, and Finance to mitigate risks and improve performance. The position requires 3–5 years in planning/scheduling, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years planning/scheduling experience.
• Understanding of product and process cost structures.
• Knowledge of corn wet milling industry preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Aptitude with math and statistics.
• Strong problem solving, innovative and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Create and update supply plans (production and distribution) at SKU/weekly horizon for North America region.
• Identify bottlenecks and risks to supply and propose mitigation plans.
• Identify opportunities linked to underutilization impacting costs of supply.
• Coordinate plan results with stakeholders to agree on risk mitigation plans.
• Establish inventory policy by SKU/location in line with regional SIOP.
• Monitor production KPIs and improve supply assumptions and processes.
• Ensure data integrity within all tools and systems.
• Lead initiatives to improve team results and efficiency.
• Support SKU rationalization analyses.
• Participate in inventory cycles and full physical counts.

We are looking for our next Sr. Supply Planner within our Supply Chain Team. The Sr. Supply Planer will be responsible for bridging strategic planning and operational execution, ensuring customer demand is met while optimizing inventory levels, production capacity, service performance, and working capital.

This position is located in Keokuk, IA or Geneva, IL.

Compensation:

The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $100,000 – $130,000. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What You’ll Do:

• Create and update supply plans (production and distribution) at SKU/weekly horizon for North America region, considering manufacturing capacities, logistics and transport limitations, customer demand, inventory policy, alignment with regional SIOP, and raw material availabilities

• Identify and communicate potential bottlenecks and/or risks to supply and propose mitigation plans

• Identify and communicate potential business opportunities linked to underutilization which could impact the costs of supply

• Communicate plan results and alerts, with coordination with main stakeholders to agree on risk mitigation plans (liase with Manufacturing, PLM, Demand Planning, Supply Schedulers, Procurement, Finance, etc.)

• Establish and adhere to inventory policy by SKU/storage location and in line with regional SIOP, enabling the continuity of product availability to optimize free cash flow, align with business strategy, account for demand/supply volatilities, and account for lead times

• Monitor and analyze production KPI metrics, with focus on supply plan adherence, to identify root causes and implement improvements to supply assumptions, models, and processes

• Ensure data integrity within all tools and systems

• Act as leader for specific key initiatives to improve the team’s results and efficiency, such as KPI improvement projects, process redesigns, data analysis, and optimization

• Provide analysis and recommendations in support of SKU rationalization processes

• Participate in any inventory cycle or full physical counts each year

• Ensure clear understanding, agreement, and communication of all plans

• Coordination of plan results and supply alerts with impacted groups to execute risk mitigation plan

What You’ll Need:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related business field

Experience:

• 3-5 years Planning/Scheduling Experience

• Understanding of product and process cost structures in making informed planning decisions

• Knowledge of corn wet milling industry preferred

• Strong oral and written communication

• Demonstrated aptitude with math and statistics

• Strong problem solving, innovative and analytical skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• This is a full-time position. Days and flexible hours of work are required to meet facility demands.
