Job summary

Axiom Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced NOPP Coordinator to provide project management and inter-agency coordination for the National Oceanographic Partnership Program (NOPP) and its ONR partnership.

Responsibilities include coordinating IAA drafts, planning IWG meetings, funding alignments, and developing annual spend plans, as well as producing the NOPP Annual Report and outreach to raise program visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant area or equivalent years of education and experience.
• 2-4+ years of experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Inter-agency Coordination: planning and coordinating between NOPP and ONR representatives, including IAA drafts and IWG meetings with agendas and minutes.
• Financial and Spend Planning: document project funding transfers and the annual spend plan for fiscal alignment.
• Reporting and Outreach: develop the NOPP Annual Report and conduct outreach to expand program visibility; brief leadership.
• Programmatic Services: coordinate with NOAA science programs and laboratories for options and funding opportunities.
• Must be able to pass background screening prior to employment.
