Job summary

Axiom Consultants, Inc is seeking an Education Coordinator to lead national educator professional development across online, onsite, and hybrid formats. You will design programs, curate NOAA educational content, and coordinate with a national network of facilitators and partner institutions to advance ocean literacy.

You will also manage alliances, coordinate meetings, and drive outreach and evaluation activities to enhance NOAA Ocean Exploration mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant area or equivalent years of education and experience.
• 4-6+ years of experience.
• Strong oral and written communication, problem-solving skills, and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and design leadership for national educator PD across online, onsite, and hybrid platforms.
• Develop objectives, agendas, content, and materials for NOAA Ocean Exploration educator opportunities.
• Curate content and create promotional materials for educator opportunities.
• Coordinate with a network of professional development facilitators and partners.
• Lead facilitator training and ensure consistency of educator programs nationwide.
• Oversee workshop design, delivery, evaluation, and outreach communications.
• Manage alliance partnerships and coordinate meetings with science institutions.
• Support project coordination and education outreach for ocean literacy objectives.
