Arbor-Academy is seeking a Part Time Noon Hour Aide to supervise students during meals and support positive mealtime conduct. The role emphasizes safety, service, and teamwork within the school cafeteria.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, prior experience with youth, and strong communication skills to interact with students, staff, and families. This is a part-time noon-hour position at our Lakeview campus.

Qualifications

• Maintain a professional appearance at all times per Academy standards.
• May assist in preparing and serving meals according to planned menus.
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing duties in the kitchen and cafeteria area.
• Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or designee.

NATURE OF THE POSITION:

The lunch aide will monitor students during mealtimes, ensuring that all students behave appropriately and adhere to mealtime procedures. They may also assist students who have difficulty carrying their trays or need help with food selection. strong customer service skills as they will be interacting with students and staff daily. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards is crucial.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Position requires frequent standing and walking throughout building and school grounds. Ability to stoop, crouch, kneel and bend occasionally. Occasionally lifts and carries materials or items weighing up to 30 pounds. Ability to use senses - sight, hearing, smell and touch. Ability to type; uses hand/eye coordination for typing and data entry.
