Job summary

eCratchit is a Massachusetts-based finance/accounting firm seeking a seasoned accounting professional to support nonprofit clients with reconciliation, general ledger, and monthly reporting. The role emphasizes proactive client communication, accuracy, and organization in a remote-friendly environment.

The position requires 3–4 years of accounting experience, a bachelor’s in accounting or related field, and proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel.

Qualifications

• Strong reconciliation and balance sheet analysis skills.
• General ledger experience.
• Understanding of monthly financial statement reporting.
• Ability to manage and communicate with multiple clients/companies and peers.
