Job summary

Insource Services is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to deliver routine services to nonprofit clients. Responsibilities include processing AP/AR, payroll, and cash flows using QuickBooks, and supporting monthly bank reconciliations and journal entries.

The role requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent, with strong Excel skills and experience in financial reporting. Hybrid work in the Greater Boston area is offered, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience handling AP/AR and payroll processes
• Familiarity with nonprofit and small-to-mid sized firms a plus
• Proficient in Excel and financial reporting
• Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash disbursements, and cash receipts using QuickBooks or other accounting software packages
• Reconcile bank items and job costs monthly; maintain GL and prepare journal entries and financial reports
• Assist with budget data gathering, audit prep, 1099s, and other regulatory filings
• Collaborate with clients and Insource staff to upgrade operating procedures and document changes
