Leoforce is seeking a Staff Accountant in Orlando to manage financial data, grant allocation, and GL reconciliation within our nonprofit Finance team. You will prepare journal entries, support monthly close, and collaborate on budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years accounting experience, nonprofit preferred.
• Grant allocation and management experience.
• Experience posting journal entries to the general ledger.
• Experience with GL account reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software.
• Commitment to nonprofit mission.

Responsibilities

• Enter data and maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage and allocate grants per grant requirements.
• Prepare and post journal entries to the GL.
• Perform monthly GL reconciliations.
• Collaborate on financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Liaise with external auditors during audits.
• Help develop financial policies to improve efficiency.
