Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Grants Accounting Manager in Los Angeles to manage all grants accounting from award to closeout. You will work closely with Development, Finance, and Program teams to ensure accurate reporting, budgeting, and compliance with OMB Super Circular and grant terms.

The role requires a BA/BS in a related field and 4–6 years of experience in finance, with strong communication and analytical skills. Jobot offers a hybrid remote schedule and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
• Four to six years related experience or equivalent, including in Finance.
• Ability to write clearly and concisely; edit for clarity and accuracy.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grants accounting from award receipt to closeout and ensure accuracy for reports, invoicing, and compliance.
• Coordinate award documentation and grant budgets with Development and Finance teams.
• Monitor grant budgets vs. actuals and advise on modifications to optimize spend.
• Prepare periodic financial reports due to funding agencies and distribute to stakeholders.
• Coordinate grant financial audits and assist with audit requests and compliance.
