Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• Six years of progressively responsible professional accounting experience.
• Experience with general-ledger accounting, financial reporting, payroll, audits, and grant-funded operations.
• Nonprofit or governmental fund-accounting experience preferred.
• Supervisory or accounting team leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and compliance functions including grant cash management, procurement, accounts receivable and billing.
• Prepare financial reports and support audit readiness.
• Collaborate across the agency to interpret fiscal requirements and monitor financial activity.
• Safeguard financial resources and ensure compliance with regulations.
