Job summary

City Scholars® Foundation seeks a Foundation Manager to lead day-to-day operations and expand the Fellowship for Education program. You’ll report to the Founder & President and collaborate with volunteers to strengthen governance, fundraising and partner relations.

The role is full-time in the Greater Los Angeles area with hybrid in-person and remote work, requires 5–7 years leadership experience and a Bachelor's degree, and offers a $70,000 annual salary plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5–7+ years of high-performing leadership/professional experience preferred.
• Experience in leadership development or nonprofit capacity building is a plus.
• Able to work in traditional office and virtual environments, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, onboard First-Year Foundation Fellows and partner with the Founder to foster learning and accountability.
• Recruit and engage executive volunteers to serve as advisors, coaches and mentors; plan the Leadership Summit.
• Collect and communicate the Fellowship's impact and mobilize support from partners and donors.
• Ensure day-to-day operations stay on track while supporting team growth and governance.
• Lead multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision.
