Job summary

Center for Christian Virtue is seeking an Advancement Officer to cultivate and expand its network of supporters. You will educate partners about CCV’s mission, policy initiatives, and impact, and invite them into financial and strategic partnerships.

The role reports to the Senior Advancement Director and requires in-state travel within Ohio. You will manage a caseload of high-net-worth partners, drive the full fundraising cycle, and document activities in the CRM for data-driven portfolio

Qualifications

• 3+ years in major gift fundraising, corporate sales, wealth management, or B2B development.
• Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communication skills for building trust with high-net-worth individuals.
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, able to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Hands-on experience using CRM like Virtuous or Salesforce to manage a portfolio and pipeline.
• Willingness to travel within Ohio to meet partners in person.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a caseload of current and prospective major ministry partners.
• Initiate frequent touchpoints through face-to-face meetings, calls, and correspondence.
• Network and use wealth screening data to identify and engage new partners and foundations.
• Explain programs and initiatives with compelling narratives for ministry partners.
• Provide updates on advocacy efforts and organization ROI to partners.
• Direct the full sales cycle from initial contact to close.
• Utilize consultative sales techniques to align partners with CCV’s mission.
• Document all interactions and pipeline stages in the Virtuous CRM.
• Coordinate with leadership to evaluate portfolio performance and refine strategies.
