Robert Joseph Group in Washington, DC is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager for a full-time, temp-to-hire role within a mission-based nonprofit. You will supervise a Senior Accountant, coordinate an outsourced accounting firm, and ensure timely financial reporting.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in accounting, six years nonprofit accounting, and supervisory experience. CPA is preferred; strong Excel and Sage Intacct skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Six years of progressive accounting experience, including nonprofit accounting.
• At least two years of direct accounting staff supervision, including managing hybrid teams.
• Grant accounting experience, particularly restricted-fund accounting.
• Working knowledge of Sage Intacct and strong Excel skills.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Collaborative work style with ability to explain financial information clearly.
• Commitment to civil rights, racial justice, and equity.
