Job summary

Sage Haven Society seeks a Finance Manager to lead full-cycle financial operations, ensure reporting accuracy, funder compliance, and strong internal controls in a trauma-informed, community-based setting.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will collaborate with leadership, manage payroll and budgeting, prepare monthly and annual statements, and support audits while maintaining confidentiality and integrity.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle accounting.
• Experience using QuickBooks (Desktop preferred) for accounting functions.
• Experience preparing financial reports for funders or external stakeholders.
• Strong budgeting, internal controls, and reporting knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial analysis.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage full-cycle accounting processes and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports and statements.
• Handle funder reporting and liaise with auditors and stakeholders.
• Support HR-related financial tasks including payroll and benefits reporting.
• Provide leadership within the finance team and collaborate with senior management.
