Job summary

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Development Assistant to support our Development team this fall in a paid internship. This part-time internship focuses on prospect research and building donor profiles using database management best practices.

Approximately 20 hours per week with in-office Tuesday and Wednesday days; remaining hours may be hybrid. The internship offers hands-on experience in data handling, ethics, and donor strategy within a nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Currently attending or recently graduated from a post-secondary degree program in nonprofit management, public administration, data management or analytics, research methods, library science, business, public policy or related field.

Responsibilities

• Research donor prospects and distill information into donor profiles.
• Complete database maintenance and data quality support tasks.
• Support ongoing accuracy and completeness of donor and constituent records via established data processes.
