Job summary

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is offering an HR Intern position in Minnesota to gain hands-on experience in a nonprofit environment. The role covers talent acquisition, compliance, HR operations, and data management while supporting various HR functions.

The internship is part-time with 15–20 hours per week during business hours, primarily at the Eagan office. There is potential for some remote work after onboarding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Currently enrolled and in good standing in a post-secondary degree program in Human Resources or closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with job description revisions and updates to ensure accuracy and consistency in content and formatting.
• Support compensation and market-pricing projects by researching industry benchmarks, gathering data, and assisting with analysis and recommendations.
• Assist with data integrity projects within the Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
• Provide administrative and project support for the development, review, revision, and maintenance of Human Resources policies, procedures, handbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with new hire orientation and employee onboarding tasks during bi-weekly New Hire Orientation sessions.

Education
