Job summary

NextPath Workforce Solutions is seeking a Chief Operating Officer – Non Profit to join our client’s team in Orlando, FL. This onsite, direct-hire role drives organizational performance, operating cadence, and cross-functional alignment.

You will translate strategy into annual plans, develop dashboards and KPIs, oversee HR, facilities, IT, and vendor contracts, and collaborate with the CEO to enhance execution and governance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years leadership in nonprofit or mission-driven sectors.
• 5+ years in senior executive roles leading multi-functional teams.
• Proven ability translating strategy into operating plans with KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategy into annual plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Establish and manage operating cadences (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
• Oversee HR operations including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, policies, and performance management.
• Lead enterprise-wide operational systems, workflows, and process improvements.
• Spearhead major projects such as office relocation and facilities management.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools for leadership and Board.
• Partner with executive leadership to align departmental goals and cross-functional initiatives.
• Support organizational technology adoption, system integrations, and data governance.
• Collaborate with the CEO and senior team to improve internal execution capacity.
• Manage vendor and contract administration outside of financial controls.
• Ensure compliance, risk management, and operational excellence across departments.
