Job summary

Qualifications

• Seven years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience required.
• Bachelor's degree required; combination of related experience may be accepted.
• Public accounting experience preferred; nonprofit experience highly preferred.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.
• Prior project management and client management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Controller for designated nonprofit clients and provide advisory on accounting and finance engagements.
• Manage multiple clients, workstreams, and deadlines.
• Prepare and analyze client financial statements and make recommendations.
• Foster opportunities and participate in industry events and trainings.
• Maintain knowledge of client policies, government directives, and accounting standards.
• Advise management on short- and long-term financial objectives and actions.
