Job summary

CFS is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper in Grand Rapids, MI to support a mission-driven nonprofit. The role offers an hourly, full-time position with direct impact on program success and financial accuracy.

You will handle reconciliations, AP/AR, invoicing, and daily bookkeeping to back practical community services. Ideal candidates have nonprofit accounting exposure, solid Excel and accounting software skills, and prior bookkeeping support experience to contribute across finance and operations

Qualifications

• Experience with AP, AR, and reconciliations.
• Prior bookkeeping or accounting support experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Nonprofit, fund, or grant accounting exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Support invoicing, billing, and payment tracking.
• Maintain daily bookkeeping and general accounting activities.
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.
