Sikich LLC is seeking an Audit Manager for Non-Profit clients across multiple Illinois locations with a hybrid US-based model. The role focuses on planning, fieldwork, and review of audits under US GAAP/GAAS/FASB, with leadership responsibilities and staff development.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in public accounting, nonprofit experience, CPA, and strong technical accounting skills. Excellent client relations and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive public accounting with in-charge experience.
• Experience with Non-Profit clients highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS and FASB regulations.
• CPA certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Perform field work on audits under US GAAP, GAAS, or FASB regulations and inform engagement leaders of audit status.
• Conduct audit tests to assess compliance with plan documents and regulatory requirements.
• Draft financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, GAAS, & FASB.
• Develop self and others through on-the-job coaching and engagement experiences.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients to enhance satisfaction.
• Build credibility through insight and business acumen, and engage with clients and teams.
• Provide strategic and tactical accounting advice and recommendations to clients.
• Review staff work product and performance.
• Deliver exceptional client support virtually, hybrid, and on-site as needed.
