Sikich LLC is seeking an Audit Manager to lead audits for nonprofit clients in a hybrid, US-based setting. The role reports to Audit Principal, emphasizing engagement leadership, training, and staff development across multiple engagements.

You will guide planning, walkthroughs, scheduling, reviews, and presenting findings while mentoring junior staff and ensuring high-quality deliverables for nonprofit clients.

Competenze

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive public accounting with in-charge experience.
• Experience working with Non-Profit clients preferred.
• Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP, GAAS, & FASB regulations.
• CPA certification required.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and audit preparation software.

Mansioni

• Perform field work on audits under US GAAP, GAAS, or FASB regulations, and inform engagement leaders of audit engagement status.
• Conduct audit tests which assess compliance with plan document and regulatory requirements.
• Draft financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, GAAS, & FASB
• Develop self and others through seeking and offering on the job coaching and engagement experiences.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Build strong credibility through displaying positive insight and business acumen, applying technical competence and engaging in relevant discussions with clients and engagement teams
• Provide strategic and tactical accounting advice and recommendations to the company's clientele.
• Provide review of staff work product and performance.
• Deliver exceptional client support virtually, hybrid, and on-site as needed.
