Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Proven leadership in coaching and developing accounting professionals.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy and deadlines-driven.
• CPA preferred; nonprofit accounting experience.
• Knowledge of MIP Abila and PowerBI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations including financial reporting, order to cash, procure to pay, project accounting and fund accounting.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals through coaching and career development planning.
• Ensure internal controls and compliance, and maintain related policies.
• Coordinate annual audit workpapers and liaise with external auditors.
• Support budgeting, variance analysis, and donor/grant reporting.
