Job summary

Georgia Legal Services Program (GLSP) seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to supervise the Accounting Department and ensure accurate, compliant financial operations. The role collaborates with the Sr.

Director of Finance, regional managers, and program leadership to maintain sound financial administration. Responsibilities include payroll oversight, accounts payable, grants and contracts, general ledger, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Experience managing an integrated accounting system; Blackbaud Financial Edge is a plus.
• Experience in nonprofit accounting and audits preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of office technologies: Adobe Pro, Legal Server, Microsoft Office, Zoom.
• Supervision experience is required.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Accounting Department staff and ensure daily needs are met.
• Ensure compliance with LSC requirements and GAAP.
• Close books by the 15th of each month.
• Monitor spending and inform Director of Finance of issues.
• Coordinate with the audit firm for an efficient audit.
