Job summary

Community Land Trust Association of West Marin (CLAM) seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting, multi-fund grant reporting, and close processes. You will manage AP/AR, GL, reconciliations, and monthly close while partnering with our CPA firm for audits and tax matters.

You will also handle construction draws, contractor payments, and project cost tracking for development work, ensuring accurate reporting to the Executive Director, Board, and funders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Nonprofit and grant accounting experience required.
• GAAP knowledge and strong internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations: AP/AR, GL, reconciliations, monthly close.
• Maintain multi-fund accounting and grant reporting for audit readiness.
• Coordinate with outsourced CPA for audits and tax matters.
• Manage construction draws and project cost tracking for development work.
• Prepare financial reports for Executive Director, Board and funders.
