Job summary

YWCA Princeton is seeking a Junior Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, support month-end and year-end closings, and ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards. Reporting to the Controller, this role manages accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit preparation.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration required.
• Two years of experience in nonprofit accounting or similar accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded in the accounting system.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closings, including bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable and support audit preparation.
• Support data gathering for organizational audits and tax return processes.
