Onslow Memorial Hospital Inc in Jacksonville, NC seeks an experienced ultrasound technologist to perform cardiac ultrasound imaging on patients of all ages, as well as venous and arterial studies. You will image and document findings for physicians' interpretation.

You will demonstrate anatomy for interpretation or intervention, exercise professional judgement, maintain ethics, and be available for call as requested.

Performs cardiac ultrasound imaging on patients of all ages as well as venous and arterial imaging. Demonstrates anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgement in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Available for call as requested. Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.Education/Certification:Registered or registry eligible by ARDMS (RDCS and/or RVT) and/or CCI (RCS and/or RVS).If eligible, must apply for certification within 12 months of hire and acquire certification within the specified guidelines.The 2nd certification must be obtained within 24 months of hire.Experience preferred.
