Piedmont Macon North is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures using standard practices. You will conduct vascular, renal, aorta/iliac, and carotid assessments and prepare preliminary findings for review.

The role requires AMA/JRCERT credentials and ARDMS or equivalent certification, with Basic Life Support upon hire. Applicants should be capable of caring for patients across all ages in a clinical setting.

Competenze

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or a JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• ARDMS certification or equivalent (RMS, RVT, or RVS) is required or at hire.
• BCLS certification upon hire is required.

Mansioni

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures.
• Performs noninvasive testing for evidence of peripheral vascular, renal, aorta/iliac and carotid artery disease.
• Prepares preliminary findings and communicates results to supervising staff.
• Provides patient care services using imaging modalities for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
