Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Florida is seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician for a long-term care pharmacy serving long-term care facilities and assisted living communities.

You will handle non-sterile drugs, assist in setup of equipment and supplies, mix and package non-sterile medications, and support the processing of returned drugs while ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards in a team-focused environment. This full-time shift runs 2:30pm–11:00pm.

Qualifications

• Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician required.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Previous IV pharmacy experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be reliable and able to execute multiple tasks.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Mix and package non-sterile medications.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Assist in setup of the non-sterile equipment and supplies.
• Maintain pharmacy standards and adhere to policies.
• Complies with safety, attendance, and dress code policies.
• Complete any other task assigned by Floor Manager & Pharmacist In Charge.
