Job summary

Belmar Pharma Solutions seeks a Non Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team in Wisconsin. You will prepare customized medication formulations, measure, mix, and package non-sterile compounds following prescriptions and quality standards.

You will collaborate with pharmacists, maintain clean workspaces, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while supporting patient care and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Candidates without Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician registration must obtain it upon hire.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Compounding and/or laboratory experience preferred.
• Must read and understand SOPs and guidelines related to the process.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of applicable pharmacy rules and regulations.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Understand USP 795 and USP 800 requirements.
• Maintain a working knowledge of pharmacy software.
• Prioritize and prepare formula and compounding records.
• Compound medications accurately and efficiently.
• File necessary paperwork and maintain records.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Assist with ongoing and month-end inventory.
• Assist in training staff and onboarding.
• Pull outdated medications for destruction.
• Restock supplies and keep the pharmacy neat and orderly.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and workspace cleanliness.
