Job summary

GoGoMeds-Select in Fairfield, OH is hiring a Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to prepare prescriptions and specialty medications under pharmacist supervision. You will select containers, measure ingredients, and ensure accuracy and safety in compounded products.

Work closely with pharmacists within a growing organization committed to high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in compounding processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and Ohio-accepted technician training.
• PTCB certification preferred for non-sterile compounding.
• Registration with Ohio Board of Pharmacy as technician.

Responsibilities

• Prepare compounded products under pharmacist supervision.
• Select containers for dispense/stock per med type and program.
• Calculate and measure ingredients for correct dosages.
• Maintain clean, compliant lab environment and PPE.
• Document all compounding activities and batch records.
• Operate and maintain compounding equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with purchasing to prevent shortages.
• Follow USP <795> and USP <800> guidelines and state laws.
