ASG PHARMACY in Cuyahoga Falls, OH is seeking a Pharmacy Technician specializing in non-sterile compounding. You will support pharmacists, prepare and dispense medications with accuracy, and deliver excellent customer service in a busy retail and compounding setting.
This on-site role offers a competitive hourly rate, flexible Saturday rotation, and opportunities for growth within a respected community pharmacy.
Qualifications
- Reading and interpreting physicians' medication orders with precision.
- Follow non-sterile compounding formulas accurately per USP 800 guidelines.
- Prepare and package medications with attention to safety and handling.
- Assist in filling, processing and dispensing prescriptions efficiently.
- Support inventory management through stock control practices.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries promptly.
Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting physicians' medication orders with precision.
- Following compound formulas accurately to create non-sterile medications in accordance with USP 800 guidelines.
- Preparing and packaging medications, including those requiring special handling and safety measures.
- Assisting in filling, processing, and dispensing prescriptions efficiently.
- Supporting inventory management through diligent stock control practices.
- Providing excellent customer service by promptly and courteously answering phone inquiries and assisting customers.
