Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a licensed pharmacist in Florida to oversee non-sterile compounding operations in Fort Lauderdale. You will supervise pharmacy technicians, ensure adherence to USP 795 standards, and maintain a compliant compounding environment.

You will develop SOPs, calibrate and maintain equipment, conduct quality checks, and document all compounding activities with accuracy. Ongoing education and regulatory updates are expected, along with handling any hazardous drug processes as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Florida pharmacist with compounding expertise.
• Experience with non-sterile compounding in a regulated setting.
• Knowledge of USP 795 guidelines and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy technicians in non-sterile compounding and ensure quality standards.
• Ensure all compounding activities comply with USP 795 and regulations.
• Develop and update SOPs for non-sterile processes.
• Ensure equipment is available, calibrated, and maintained.
• Implement quality control to ensure accuracy and safety of compounded meds.
• Perform final checks before dispensing.
• Maintain records of ingredients, lots, and BUD dates.
• Provide education and training to staff on compounding practices.
• Stay current with best practices and regulatory changes.
• Handle hazardous drug procedures when applicable.
• Maintain clean and compliant compounding areas.
• Address questions from staff regarding processes.
