Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of sterile compounding practices and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of aseptic technique and cleanroom operations.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of USP <797> (preferred).
• Experience in a compounding pharmacy or sterile production environments.

Responsibilities

• Verify and oversee the preparation of sterile compounded medications in accordance with USP <797> and applicable regulations.
• Ensure proper aseptic technique and adherence to sterile compounding procedures.
• Perform final product verification, including review of formulations, labeling, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate compounding records and batch documentation.
• Participate in environmental monitoring, quality assurance programs, and sterility testing review.
• Assist with deviation investigations, CAPA development, and quality event documentation.
• Supervise sterile compounding technicians and ensure adherence to sterile procedures.
• Monitor compliance with garbing procedures, aseptic technique, and cleanroom protocols.
