Progress Pharmacy Inc in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support compounding operations under a pharmacist, preparing non-sterile dosage forms such as creams, suspensions, troches, and nasal sprays in a fast-paced setting. The role requires at least two years of technician experience, an active Florida license, and proficiency with compounding equipment.

You will use pharmacy software (Liberty, Pioneer, Life File) and ensure compliance with USP

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in compounding.
• Active FL license (technician or intern) in good standing.
• Experience with compounding equipment (scales, hot plates, capsule machines).
• Experience in preparing non-sterile dosage forms (capsules, creams, nasal sprays, suspensions).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking, troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare non-sterile dosage forms under pharmacist supervision.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy software (Liberty/Pioneer/Life File preferred).
• Learn and develop expertise in specialty compounds and nutraceuticals.
• Monitor inventory and ensure proper storage.
• Follow SOPs and USP 795/800 standards.
• Participate in training to stay current with industry standards.
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations and assist with QC of compounded meds.
