Job summary

InfuCare Rx is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician/Compounding Technician to join our team in the West Palm Beach area. You will support compounding and dispensing while delivering patient-centered service under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

The role involves sterile and non-sterile compounding, inventory management, quality assurance, and customer service in accordance with policies and state regulations. Excellent attention to detail and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy where employed.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Pharmacy technician in a compounding pharmacy.
IV tech certification is preferred.
Excellent communication skills including reading, writing, and speaking.
Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to compound, prepare and dispense medications with clean room maintenance.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies using appropriate techniques.
Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dose.
Demonstrate safety, sterile product processing & infection control in daily activities.
Dispense products and record in pharmacy management software for delivery documents.
Ensure pharmacist checks outgoing prescriptions prior to delivery and participate in patient outreach.
